Welcome to Jackie OH Shasta's and Sir Todd Benewah's Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Home page! Jackie and Todd are our 5 year old Griffon pups, whom we've enjoyed so much we want to share them with other Griffon lovers.
Location: Boise Idaho
Bird dogs have always been a part of our family. After raising and hunting 3 children, 3 English Setters for hunting upland game and pointing, and a Chocolate Lab for retrieving, a friend told us about the Wirehaired Pointing Griffons. It was love at first sight. Jackie and Todd have been wonderful hunting and family dogs (and they shed less than any of our previous dogs :).
We are not a kennel that raises dogs for a living . We are bird hunters who plan our year around the bird hunting seasons (which in Idaho is 7 months a year; including turkey season). When we are not hunting we are planning hunting trips, training our dogs, running the dogs in the hillls by our cabin, fishing, and working.

Jackie and Todd come from a long bloodline of AKC champions. We have included their Certified Pedigree in the photo album below and on their personal web page. Click on the picture to enlarge the certificate. The abbreviations before and after the dogs name are used to identify the AKC champion they hold.
